Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)
Under the Americans With Disabilities Act, an employer is required to make a reasonable accommodation to the known disability of a qualified applicant or employee if it would not impose an "undue hardship" on the operation of the employer's business. "Undue hardship" is defined as an action requiring significant difficulty or expense when considered in light of factors such as an employer's size, financial resources, and the nature and structure of its operation. "Reasonable accommodation" is defined as making existing facilities used by employees readily accessible to and usable by individuals with disabilities.

green home
a type of home that is constructed to be energy efficient and that is built in a manner that reduces building impacts on human health and the environment.

manufactured building (aka prefabricated building)
a type of building that is assembled in a factory and then transported to the site of use

modular building
a sectional prefabricated building that is manufactured in a factory and delivered to the customer in one or more complete modular sections.


portable building
a building designed to be movable rather than permanently located, marketed primarily to people whose lifestyles require mobility and/or inexpensive housing; can be temporary or permanent

warranty
a written guarantee of the integrity of a product and of the maker's responsibility for the repair or replacement of defective parts
